Abstract
This research article analyses Siddique Salik’s book Hama Yārāṅ Dozakh as a genre of reportage. In this article, it is argued that Hama Yārāṅ Dozakh is reportage and not an autobiography as it is usually listed. This reportage revolves around the author’s two years in India as a prisoner of war after the fall of Dhaka (1971).
